Bridging Distances
We developed the Visual Identity and Signage for the exhibition “Antípodas – Tão Distantes, Tão Próximos” which celebrates the 130th anniversary of the Friendship Treaty between Brazil and Japan, in partnership with Sesc Vila Mariana and the Japan Foundation. Full case study now available.

Visualising encryption
Our latest case study looks at the visual language we created for WhatsApp’s global campaign. The system turns encryption into a graphic structure that extends across text, image, audio, and video to express protected content consistently.

Annual tradition of Polar, this year's calendar is detachable and printed on 12 different colors of paper. Available for purchase in Gengibrão's online and physical stores.

Pizza Pac, Ltda.
We brought together friends, partners, and clients to celebrate the launch of Calendário, Ltda. 2026, the seventh edition of a project that has become a milestone in our history. The gathering took place at our favorite bakery, PAC, which crafted the pizzas and other delights on the menu.

Lais is a Young Guns 23 Finalist
For the second consecutive year, Polar’s Co-Founder and Creative Director, Lais Ikoma, has been named a finalist in Young Guns. The One Club for Creativity’s competition celebrates outstanding creative talents aged 30 and under. We are beyond proud of this recognition!

"Homens sem Lei" Reveals Dark History of the Death Squad
The documentary series explores the rise of Scuderie Le Cocq in the 1960s, a paramilitary group of police officers who, with state approval, established a legacy of violence that persists to this day. Watch it on streaming to see the visual identity and title cards created by us.

We joined the Experimental Typography Festival to share how we bring letters to life through animation — reflecting on our collaborations with Brazilian type foundries and how the intersection between type and motion lies at the heart of our design practice.

Packaging Soap Like It’s Beer
Our packaging project for Niul was featured on The Dieline. The article highlights how the design introduces aluminum cans as a new container for liquid soap — offering a more sustainable way for the product to live on the shelf while keeping a sense of familiarity with classic packaging systems.

Created for Sesc’s summer programming, the visual system for Sesc Verão 2023 was included in Funkadelic, a Victionary publication showcasing identities that explore color, contrast, and the free-spirited aesthetics of the ’70s.
