An autoral project to connect sport and fashion
2026 started with an idea: creating our own national team jersey. A project that emerges as a continuation of explorations we’ve been developing at the intersection of sport and fashion. In this newsletter edition, we share more about the jersey’s creative process and revisit other projects we’ve developed within this same space.

Uniforme, Ltda.: our take on the hexa
Produced in a limited run of 30 units, our football jersey celebrates a title of our own: six years of Polar. The team, #ebff00 F.C., takes its name from the code of our signature Polar yellow, which also colors the six-star crest.

Escola + Natureza added to Brand Archive library
Brand Archive is a super-powered research tool and curated archive for brand-building designers, showcasing projects that contribute to the evolving landscape of visual identity. Escola + Natureza’s visual identity is now part of their archive, serving as a source of reference and inspiration within the field.

Natural Tech Spotlight: A Tal da Castanha
Natural Tech is the largest and most influential event dedicated to the healthy products market in Latin America. We were present at the pavilion to closely follow the presence of one of our clients, A Tal da Castanha, a brand we developed in partnership with the Positive Co. team.

Replay launches its new season: Exagerado
“Projeto Replay” re-records classic Brazilian music albums through contemporary interpretations by a new generation of artists. Since its first edition, we have developed the project’s visual identity. In this new season, the “Exagerado” album features reinterpretations by Brazilian artists such as Ludmilla, Mateus Fazeno Rock, Urias, among others.

Bringing children closer to nature: read the full story on Creative Review
Brazil’s native flora and fauna inspired the visual system for this new green school initiative. In Creative Review’s coverage, the project is presented as a nature-driven identity that reconnects children with the natural world, using Brazilian biodiversity, a vibrant palette, and a flexible visual system to foster awareness and engagement with climate realities.

Become One with Nature: Escola + Natureza featured on BrandNew
The platform serves as a space for critical analysis and discussion, featuring daily branding and identity projects that stand out in the contemporary landscape. In their view, the project accurately represents the initiative’s name and purpose, through a playful language that brings together the world of childhood and a connection to nature.

Polar projects featured in The Elements of Brand Design
Our Visual Identity Systems for OSESP and WhatsApp are featured in Taschen's publication. The publication brings together 110 case studies highlighting the elements that shape brands, including form, color, typography, and intangible aspects such as vision and values.

Promoting a better world for children
New case study: Escola + Natureza, a visual identity project for Instituto Alana, translating its purpose into a flexible system that connects nature, education, and belonging to inspire greener learning environments.

Calendar, Ltda. 2026 recognized by TDC72
The competition, organized by the Type Directors Club, recognizes projects that demonstrate excellence in the use of typography. In addition to receiving a Certificate of Typographic Excellence, our project will also be published in a book and featured in an exhibition touring internationally.

Sara Neves is a speaker at ENED 2026 in Portugal
Polar will be present at Portugal’s National Meeting of Design Students, taking place this year in Portimão. Represented by Sara from our Business & Operations team, we’ll share more about our working methodology and what drives our day-to-day decisions in the studio.

Bridging Distances
We developed the Visual Identity and Signage for the exhibition “Antípodas – Tão Distantes, Tão Próximos” which celebrates the 130th anniversary of the Friendship Treaty between Brazil and Japan, in partnership with Sesc Vila Mariana and the Japan Foundation. Full case study now available.
