Raval
To Raval, nostalgia is not a mere fetish, but the construction of a language. Aiming to materialize the creative references of the production company in its visual identity, this project began with a wide visual investigation on the relation between audiovisual and graphic design over the decades.
Early title sequences in avant-garde movements, such as the French Nouvelle Vague, were the inspiration to define the brand's typographic voice. As a tribute to the references that influenced Raval's language, signs and symbols from the universe of video production were reinterpreted and incorporated into the graphic system. The lively behavior and compositions bring the identity into the present, giving Raval's communication a certain cinematic charm that is both retro and contemporary.
