Pinheiros River: Photographs

Published to celebrate the 118th anniversary of Esporte Clube Pinheiros (ECP), photobook "Pinheiros, as várias margens de um rio”, which translates into something like “Pinheiros, the many banks of a river”, revives the history of the famous watercourse that once ran in the middle of the club, before the river's rectification.

Polar was responsible for the graphic design and visual narrative of the publication, including the curation of the images, mostly pictures from the 20’s which currently belong to the collection of Hans Nobiling Memory Museum (Centro Pró-Memória Hans Nobiling), located within ECP.

As the common element between rivers and books, the margin was the key concept for curation and graphic design choices.
